While MindTouch Deki has a fantastic engineering team, a lot of what we've done comes from the work of other projects. Here we'll outline all the third-party applications and projects that have led to the success of MindTouch Deki.

Mono provides the necessary open source software to develop and run .NET client and server applications on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows, and Unix. Sponsored by Novell, the Mono open source project has an active and enthusiastic contributing community and is positioned to become the leading choice for development of Linux applications.
Debian, organized by the Debian Project, is a widely used distribution of free software developed through the collaboration of volunteers from around the world. Since its inception, the released system, Debian GNU/Linux, has been based on the Linux kernel, with many basic tools of the operating system from the GNU project.
The Apache HTTP Server Project is an open source collaborative software development effort aimed at creating a robust, commercial-grade, featureful, and freely-available source code implementation of an HTTP (Web) server. The project is jointly managed by a group of volunteers located around the world, using the Internet and the Web to communicate, plan, and develop the server and its related documentation. This project is part of the Apache Software Foundation. In addition, hundreds of users have contributed ideas, code, and documentation to the project.
PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.
MySQL AB is defining a new database standard. This is based on its dedication to providing a less complicated solution suitable for widespread application deployment at a greatly reduced TCO. MySQL's robust database solutions embody an ingenious software architecture while delivering dramatic cost savings. MindTouch is a MySQL partner.
IIRF Rewriter- The URL rewriter used by Deki inside of the Windows-based MSI installations. Thanks to "Cheeso" for not just writing but maintaining it; without it the Windows port of Deki would have been much more difficult (if not impossible).
Coco/R for generating the scanner and parser for DekiScript
